Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions is located in Ulster Park, NY, part of the Historic Haunted Hudson Valley. The historic manor circa 1793 incorporates over sixty-five acres of naturally landscaped property including foreboding woods, surreal ponds, fruit orchards and more. Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions is a unique, immersive experience with a theme that changes each Halloween season.
Headless Horseman continually evolves with unusual monsters, amazing illusions, stunning special fx, unique and original costumes, makeup, animations and frightening detail created by our sister company American Made Monster Studios. Only the courageous will survive the intense encounters with the infamous Headless Horseman.

- Hay Wagon Rides: Guests who require assistance to transfer onto the hay wagon must bring individuals to perform the loading and unloading process.
- Walk Thru & Corn Maze: The Walk Thru path is hard packed item 4 and black top . The corn maze pathway is made of hard-packed dirt.
- Haunted Houses: Our haunted houses are standard wheelchair accessible to ensure all guests can enjoy the spooky fun.
- Food Concessions and Gift Shop: These areas are designed to be accessible to guests with mobility challenges.

What happens in case of inclement weather?
If the weather impacts our operation, a closing announcement will be posted on our website, Facebook Page, and our phone system by 2:00pm the day of. In addition, ticket holders will receive an e-mail that will instruct you to change your online reservation, to a date in the remaining season or the tickets transfer to the following year. Please choose your new date and time as soon as possible to obtain your new reservation, or advise tickets are transferring to the following year. SORRY THERE ARE NO REFUNDS, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Can I work at Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions?
You must be at least 16 years old to work for Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions. All positions are available during the season, primarily weekend evenings. Please see our Schedule for our Dates of Operation. Please email
What type of attractions do you have?
We have a hayride, walking trail, walk thru corn maze attractions and haunted houses. In addition, we have eateries, gift shops, and donut bakery. We also have Headless Horseman Escape Rooms, which require a separate ticket purchase.
What age is your attraction appropriate for?
Due to the nature of our attraction, this is NOT recommended for children under the age of 13. Children 8 (or younger) will NOT be allowed on any evening hayrides, walking trail, in the corn maze, or haunted houses. Children age 15 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Can I change my ticket date or time?
A ticket date or time may be changed subject to a rescheduling fee of $15.00 plus $1.20 NYS sales tax per ticket. Rescheduling fee for Children's Day is $5.00 plus .40 NYS sales tax per ticket. Change subject to availability.
What happens when I get there?
RESERVATIONS ARE STRONGLY RECOMMENDED.
When you arrive at Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Attractions, you will walk to the ticket booths, and must go to the Ticket Window to exchange your reservation confirmation for a ticket. On site ticket sales are sold at the discretion of management and depend on availability. RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED! Thereafter, you will walk to our Midway, and to the Hayride Staging Area.
After completing the Hayride and Walking Trail, you will walk thru the Corn Maze Attractions and Haunted Houses, Stage Show, Gift Shops, and food concessions.
What does the Horseman's walking trail consist of?
You will experience walking through dimly lit areas, gravel terrain, and up and down hill walking areas.
What type of shoes do i need to wear?
Guests cannot wear flip flops, high heels, or sandals. We suggest shoes with laces, boot,s or sneakers.
Are there chairs along the walking trail?
No, there are not chairs or stop stations. You can walk at your own pace, but remember there are other groups behind you.
Can we use a flashlight?
Please do not bring a flash light. The walking trail has enough light to safely walk.
Will we have to wear a mask?
If you want to wear a mask that is up to you. We follow all New York State and Center for Disease Control requirements.
Will I get to see everything?
Yes!
How long will it take to do everything?
Approximately 2 hours, and stay as long as you like.
I have a reservation; do I still have to wait in line?
Unfortunately, yes.
Why do I need to make a reservation in advance?
Making a reservation secures you a space on whatever night you would like to come.
How early should I arrive ?
You should arrive approximately 30 minutes early to redeem your tickets at the ticket window, and walk to the midway and staging area.
What form of payment do you accept at the ticket window?
We accept cash as well as Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We have an ATM machine on site.
Is it really scary???
We certainly hope so!
If I leave before completing the event , can I get a refund?
No, if you decide to leave we will not grant a refund.
Do you have any chainsaws at the attraction?

Do you use Strobe lights?
Yes, specialty lighting is used throughout.
Do you have clowns in the show?
Yes, Lucy Fear's Circus Sideshow is haunted with clowns.
